COMPANY HISTORY

Hayden Group has been a part of the community since 1990. The company was founded by partners Ed Hayden and Matt Baldwin who began by providing brokerage services and property management in Hillsboro and the greater Washington County area. The partners were also actively involved in local development projects and investment properties.

​In the late 90's Kyle Hayden and Nick Baldwin, the young sons of the partners, joined the team. Although Kyle and Nick later spent several years away at college and other ventures, eventually both returned to continue growing the family business.

​Along with our wonderful staff, the two generations continue to drive the company into the future.

​HAYDEN GROUP HEADQUARTERS

Our office is located at the intersection of 5th and SE Washington Street in downtown Hillsboro.

​Until the year 2000 when Hayden Group purchased the property, it had been designed and used as a private residence. The Hayden Group crew added a large covered front porch with stone columns, all new exterior & landscaping, a redesigned floor plan with custom cherry woodwork and natural stone tile.

​Ed, Kyle, Nick and several other family members all worked together for many months to convert the structure into an office building and create the beautiful, cozy workspace we enjoy today.
